Road Trip Week: Soft and (almost) Quiet

It’s Road Trip Week here at The New Parents Guide! Whether you’re hitting the highways on the way to a fabulous vacation destination or simply going over the river and through the woods to Grandma’s house, we’ve put together a collection of accessories, toys and more to make getting there half the fun.

A toy doesn’t have to be new and different to provide plenty of fun–and it certainly doesn’t have to require batteries! This adorable plush caterpillar keeps babies entertained with a variety of textures and sounds. We received one as a baby gift for our older son, who’s now 20, and all three of our children enjoyed playing with this.

This toy is great to take on the go: it’s slender enough to fit easily into overstuffed tote bags or even into the bottle pocket of a diaper bag. Your baby will love discovering how to make this caterpillar squeak, crinkle, shake and jingle.
