Road Trip Week: Big Rigs

It’s Road Trip Week here at The New Parents Guide! Whether you’re hitting the highways on the way to a fabulous vacation destination or simply going over the river and through the woods to Grandma’s house, we’ve put together a collection of accessories, toys and more to make getting there half the fun.

There’s an undeniable attraction between little kids and big trucks. This big board book has colorful photos of just about every kind of truck and construction vehicle that exists! It was one of my younger son’s very favorite books, and we kept it in the car. He’d entertain himself while he sat in his car seat, looking for trucks to match the ones in the book.

My Big Book of Trucks is definitely a hit with kids! It’s a sturdy, large-format board book (over 10 inches square) with lots of pictures for kids to count, identify, and discover. It’s great road-trip reading.
