The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced that Build-a-Bear began a voluntary recall of the Colorful Hearts Bear, sold between April and December of 2011, because of a choking hazard.
The eyes on this bear can loosen and fall out, and they are small enough that babies and children could choke on them. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported as a result of this defect.
This recall is limited to the Colorful Hearts Bear and does not affect other Build-a-Bear products.
