Halloween Week: Costume Giveaway

Looking through the closets and wondering if the kids would settle for being Person With Office Job, Flowered Sheet Ghost, and Bathrobe Guy for Halloween? Believe us, there are better options – like entering our giveaway!

The kind folks at HalloweenCostumes.com are giving away not one but three Halloween costumes to NPG readers, and it couldn’t be simpler to enter. Just comment on this post, making sure to give us three pieces of information: your email address, the name and size of the costume you’d like from HalloweenCostumes.com (that’s right! the winners can pick their own baby costumes so long as they aren’t priced at more than $50) and your answer to this question:

“What was the cleverest Halloween costume you ever saw?”

U.S. residents can enter this contest as of now (yes, right now) and up until 11:59 PM PDT on Wednesday, October 12th. One entry per person, please.

The winners will be chosen at random from all entries and will be notified by email. The winners will have 5 days from the time the email notification is sent to respond. After confirmation, the winners and their winning answers will be announced on this blog. If any winners do not respond after 5 days, new winners will be chosen from the remaining entries.

    I’d love the Girls Frilly Elmo Costume in toddler size. My daughter just went crazy when I showed it to her on my laptop. She loves Elmo!

    The cleverest Halloween costume I’ve ever saw was “a babe magnet”.. he had a bunch of barbie dolls stuck to him.

    The cleaverest costume I’ve ever seen was my brother when he went as money. As in “the money you save by switching to geico.” I wish I had a picture. It was the best costume I had ever seen.

    The BEST/cleverest costume I have ever seen was a cereal killer. It was a black outfit with lots of enpty mini cereal boxes stuck to it with spoons attached :)

    I think the most clever costume I have seen was a boy dressed up as Harry Potter and his dog had two extra heads. The dog looked amazing!

    The most clever costume I ever saw was when my friend came dressed as left overs. He wore tinfoil underwear with some saran wrap sticking out. It was so funny! Side note – It was one of the coldest Halloweens ever and he came in only that!

    The cleverest costume I saw was several adults dress up as Treasure Trolls. Each had different hair colors and gems on there tummies…super cute!

    The cutest Halloween costume I’ve probably ever seen was actually at a Halloween Pet Costume Contest and was a very large bulldog dressed up like a turkey. It was priceless!!

    When I was five my dad went as the garbage dump. He pinned crumpled up paper and other “trash” items to his clothes. He handed out onions wrapped in colored cellophane for a trick because Halloween is trick OR treat.

    I would love to see my son in the Little Green Turtle costume (size small) for his first Halloween! The most clever costume I have seen was a little boy dressed as an old computer, complete with cardboard CPU and CRT monitor. His parents even glued old AOL and Earthlink disks on the costume!

    The cutest Halloween costume I have ever seen was a father dressed up as a chef and in his stockpot was his beautiful tiny baby dressed as a lobster…I love it when parents take part in the fun…

    I thought one costume I saw was the cutest I have ever seen!     The cleverest Halloween costume I have seen had to have been when I was taking my 3 boys out trickortreating and older mom was dressed in all pink carrying a feeather, they asked her ” What is your costume?” She told them she was “tickled pink”. hahaha so cute.

    I WOULD LOVE A COSTUME SIZE 18 MONTHS..THES ARE THE CUTEST BABY COSTUMES! THE CLEVEREST COSTUME I’VE SEEN IN A LONG TIME WAS WHEN MY GRANDSON AGE 2 (CRAZY FOR GEORGE) WAS CURIOUS GEORGE AND HIS DADDY WAS THE MAN IN THE YELLOW SUIT. TOO SWEET!

    The Best Costume I ever saw was a homemade “California Raisin” The Costume was made like a big sack from Purple Corduroy with a drawstring at the top and bottom. Big White Eyes (with black mesh Iris to see through) and Lumpy stuffing around the child made it look so realistic. Black Tights and White shoes made the costume an easy ensemble to complete and comfortable to wear.

    My Granddaughter would love to be a Butterfly Princess size Large 4-6.

    The best halloween I ever seen was the sweetest rottwieller dressed as Dorothy from the wizard of oz, complete with glittery ruby slippers, the blue checkered dress and even the two braids…was the cutest!

    I know my little 3mo old would look soooooo cute in the Sweet Pea costume, maybe even the lil lobster…I can’t decide!

    I saw a pregnant mom who was dressed as a bun in the oven. She made a cardboard box into a oven and there was a window around her belly and her pregnant belly was a cinnamon roll. Her husband was dressed up as a pastry chef. They won the Halloween costume party.

    The most cutest/ most original costume I have seen has to be twins dressed like Twinkies. They both had on yellow sleepers with the Hostess label across them.
