Our friends at Fill in the Blankie are co-hosting this giveaway of a personalized baby blanket!  These blankets are so cute and soft–any baby would love to use one of these as a security blanket or snuggly cover for carseat, stroller or crib.  These blankets are fully personalized, with messages on all four edges, and made of soft 100% woven cotton with a 2-inch satin trim.

How to enter:

Pop over to Fill in the Blankie, select a blanket, and tell us what message YOU’D like to put on the blankie of your choice if you’re the lucky winner!  You have a 200-character limit. Characters include letters, numbers, and even spaces and punctuation marks–so count carefully!

You can leave a comment here on the blog OR on the New Parents Guide facebook page.  Remember that you have to “like” the New Parents Guide before you can leave a comment on the facebook page.

Michael James Brown made his much anticipated debut on January 7, 2010. He has lots of people that love him dearly and are excited to watch him grow up…Mommy, Daddy, Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle Scott, Auntie Kim, Uncle Ed and Aunt Karen.

  3. Ashley 13. Sep, 2010 at 9:13 pm #

I would take the opportunity to put our son’s name on it and save it for when we announce it at his birth!

I love the herringbone blanket and the Anjou Pear color.
I’d have this poem put on the blanket. Exactly 200 characters!

    Listen to the mustn’ts child
    Listen to the don’ts
    Listen to the shouldn’ts,
    the impossibles and the won’ts
    Listen to the never haves
    Then listen close to me
    Anything can happen child
    Anything can be.

We are in the daunting, exhilarating, frustrating, beautiful process of trying to conceive our first. So I would have to go with the anjou pear and it would have to say

A dream is a wish your heart makes, and ours came true with you.

I’d put my beautiful new cousin’s name on it when they arrive any day now :)

    I would say:

I have a little shadow that goes in and out with me,
And what can be the use of him is more than I can see.

It’s from my favorite children’s poem.
