Family Artist Week: Space Age

In honor of midwinter cabin fever, we’re bringing you Family Artist Week–because you can do art projects in any kind of weather! You’ll find crafts to make with the kids as well as crafts to help you preserve family memories. Let the artist in you come out to play.

Just because your older child has passed the age where he needs safety scissors and giant pencils doesn’t mean he’s too old to enjoy art. Indulge his creativity with art that glows!

The Crayola Color Explosion Glow Dome lets kids create animated scenes by drawing some images on the dome and some on the center panel. Turn off the lights and set the dome spinning to see your creations move and glow! Images easily wipe away when you want to make a new drawing.
