Moms whose doctors put them on bed rest can look at it in one of two ways: a prison sentence, or an opportunity to let their unborn child grow and develop a little longer before making his way to the world. We’ve found some inventions, gadgets and technology that will help you rest a little easier.
When you’re on bed rest, you’re generally not allowed to make trips up and down the stairs every time you get thirsty–and you’ve probably been instructed to keep drinking water. That’s when a minifridge like you had in your college dorm can come in very handy! It’ll keep water, juice, fruit, and healthy snacks nice and cold.
This 1.8-cubic-foot minifridge can be set up so the door opens on the left or right. There’s room on the door to hold beverage cans and a 2-liter bottle (ginger ale, anyone?) It runs quietly and keeps everything nice and cold. With one of these nearby, you’ll have no excuse not to have some ice water handy at all times!
