One of the most useful items of baby gear I had was a portable play yard. The name “Pack & Play” sums it up perfectly. These play yards are so easy to set up, and pack up again when done.

My youngest child spent a lot of time in his Pack & Play. I could let him have a nap in the living room instead of carrying him all the way upstairs when it was time for a snooze. And whenever we went visiting, it was easy to take the Pack & Play with us–they fold up small enough to fit in the trunk of any car. I loved how his Pack & Play came with a bassinet insert and changing-table attachment; that was so convenient during those newborn days.
