Drool Patrol
24 Oct
When your baby’s a few months old, you won’t need to watch The Weather Channel to get a rundown on expected precipitation. Expect drippy weather for the next several months!
Teething babies seem to be endless sources of drool. It’s almost like someone turned on a faucet. And no matter what cute little outfit you’ve dressed the baby in, it’s going to be soaked around the neckline.
Remember those adorable mini-bibs you received when your baby was a newborn? Those might not seem so useless now. You’ll need all the help you can get to keep your baby’s chin and neck dry, especially with winter weather approaching. So if the baby’s awake, you may want to consider a full-time bib for him, and keep some soft cloths handy for wiping his face frequently.
The good news is, this is all normal! We have a very thorough Guide to Baby Teething here at The New Parents Guide. It’s got plenty of advice on what you can expect from your teething baby, and things you can do to relieve the symptoms. Unfortunately, there’s nothing you can do to turn off that drool faucet. Fortunately, it’s a super-cute photo opportunity!
I’ll be back Monday with a nice big Basket of Bargains. Have a great weekend!
