No baby yet, but hopefully soon! I would splurge on cloth diapers, especially since they’ll save money in the long run!

If i had the money to splurge on one item for my baby it would be a great double-stroller so that we could take walks together with my son’s big sister!

  3. Jennifer 17. Mar, 2010 at 6:55 pm #

It would be one of those cool, hip, really expensive running strollers that look like they are futuristic.

I’d totally splurge on new puppy for my July baby.

Does breast pump count? If not, our biggest splurge was the stroller.

14 weeks pregant :-) I would (and may) splurge on a safe and versatile carseat. I would love to be able to get maximum use out of the carseat. It would be awesome to use it for many months and connect it to a stroller!

For my one little one that’s on the way, a swing and for me a designer diaper bag.

I would splurge on the best car seat that I can find and on natural skin care products

  12. Heather 19. Mar, 2010 at 9:07 pm #

I would splurge on a convertible car seat with a 5 point harness that would last my child up until aroun 80 lbs. and keep it safe for a long time to come in the car. My babies grow up fast and tall, so keeping them safe in a car seat is my top priority.

If I could spurge on only one item, it would be the new hands free- freestyle Medella breast pump. I’m a graduate student and working mom to a 3 1/2 month old and 2 1/2 year old. If I could pump while typing or studying it would be heaven. I savor every free moment I get in the day. Being able to breast feed is a blessing, I would love it if I could save a little time by being able to use my hands while pumping.

I would love to splurge on a Nanny for my baby so Mom can be more well rested to take care of the baby!

Choosing just one item I would splurge on is tough, lol. I don’t mind hand-me down furniture, clothes, strollers (as long as they are safe of course), toys etc… Things like that are less important to me than spending time with my baby or making sure that I take care of myself, too. I think it would have to be an investment portfolio, for his future and college. I wish my parents had been able to do that for me. So if I could put aside a few thousand$$ right now for Devin’s future, to grow and add to over time, that would be the best thing in the world to me.

We are adopting our first child this week (hopefully)!! If I was to spluge on an item for our baby, it would be an extra light stroller!

If I could only splurge on one item for my baby due in May, it would definitely be a set of cloth diapers. I have sensitive skin, and if they baby does too, he’ll be better off with soft cotton against his skin every day!

I would splurge on professional photos of my baby. What a great keepsake they would make.

  23. Courtney 22. Mar, 2010 at 4:19 am #

I think it would be on the right childcare – I can’t see skimping on that.

If I could only splurge on one thing for my newborn child it would be the best camera money could buy. Sure the strollers, highchairs, and baby sitters are great. But after many years go buy if you don’t have a great camera to take pictures of the precious child growing up, and they do so quickly…. It would be so sad because I know so many days I love to just sit and stare at all of the beautiful pictures I have of my children all over my home.

If I could only splurge on item for my newborn child, it would be a great camera. Sure strollers, highchairs, and car seats are great items to choose. But children grow up so quickly and if you don’t take the time to capture those moments before you know it they are 2,3,4, then 10~~~ I know many days I spend so much time just gazing at the countless pictures I have of my children all over our home, a camera is a must when you have children – all other items you need and can get good quality ones also.. But you must not forget to take time to capture their childhood before it has flown by.
