The NEW ZOO and Brown County Reforestation Camp serves as a 1560-acre
recreational area. The miles of trails, picnic areas, trout ponds, and animal
exhibits provide fun and enjoyment for the whole family. Visit the observation
tower to see a good portion of the animal exhibits and lush habitat. Nestled
among the pines are playground areas, grills, volleyball courts and a ball
diamond. The camp's miles of hiking, biking, and nature trails will delight the
outdoor enthusiast. Winter is great fun for snow-shoe's and cross-country skiers
combing miles of unbroken forest. Horse-drawn wagon rides are available most
weekends in the summer & for special events in the winter.
