Car Scavenger Hunt Game

Materials needed:

  • Index cards

  • Crayons or markers

1.  Before leaving on your car trip have your kids draw 25 things they might see while traveling in the car (cow, horse, stop sign, truck, etc.).

2.  When an object is seen while in the car they set that card to the side.  The first one who finds all 25 things on their cards wins.

Tip:  To make the game last longer have your kids start drawing the objects on their cards in the car.  Once they see an object they draw it.  Once they have 25 drawings (cards) the game begins.  On the trip back they can then switch the cards they have drawn with their brother or sister and start the game again.
