East Silent Resort is a family resort located in the heart of Minnesota’s “Otter Tail Country Lakes Area.” A long lane covered by a beautiful canopy of maples, oaks and birch leads to 11 comfortable lakeside cottages. With a level sandy beach and crystal clear water, East Silent Lake is the “main attraction” for many guests. Enjoy skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, fishing, snorkeling, canoeing, swimming and boating. Back on land, fun activities include sand volleyball, basketball, lawn games, campfires, bird watching, hiking, biking and playing on the playground. White Birch Resort is a family fishing resort on Blackduck Lake. They are 3 miles from the town of Blackduck and 26 miles north of Bemidji. All of their cabins (8) and the reunion house overlook Blackduck Lake which is noted for great walleye fishing. They have many amenities for children of all ages since the owners also have young children. There are many things for the younger ones to do like dock and river fishing, swimming pool, canoes, kayaks, paddleboats, 2 playgrounds, game room, with video games, ping pong, shuffle board, and of course smores.
