Formerly the Manele Bay Hotel, the Four Seasons Resort sits atop 30 acres of tropical gardens and houses 215 rooms and 21 suites. What is really special is the kid’s camp overlooks a scenic tropical waterfall. The resort has embraced the Hawaiian theme and kids from 5 to 12 years of age can partake in authentic island rituals. Hula lessons, Hawaiian games and crafts that include making their own flower leis and creating a volcano that will actually erupt are a few of the featured activities. In addition, they will get a history lesson on the Hawaiian Islands that will surpass any they could learn in a school room. Kids will receive complimentary milk and cookies the first night at the resort and their very own welcome bag at check-in.

This beautiful resort overlooks Wailea Beach and is close to the Wailea Blue Golf Course as well as shops and art galleries. The Four Seasons offers not just three swimming pools but a fountain pool, lagoon-style pool and an adults-only pool. The hotel asks the names and ages of the kids in your party in advance so they can welcome them with bathrobes in their size, age appropriate toiletries and a sample children’s menu. There are fun-filled activities for the kids and a helpful Concierge who can suggest and coordinate daily activities. Babysitting services are available and parents may want to take at least one night for themselves to enjoy Wolfgang Puck’s famous Spago restaurant, which is onsite.
