Wind Chime

Materials needed:

  • Coffee can lid or other plastic lids

  • Marker and scissors

  • Fishing line

  • Coat hanger

  • Small bells (available at craft stores)

1.  Take the marker and draw about 10 leaf shapes onto the plastic lid.  Make the leaves about 2 x 2 inches in size.  Cut the leaves out of the lid.

2.  Poke a hole in the top and bottom of each of the leaves.  Tie a 10 inch piece of fishing line to the top of each leaf and then hang them from the coat hanger.

3.  Tie 3 inch pieces of fishing line from the bottom hole on the leaves.  Tie the other end of the fishing line to the bells.

4.  Hang the wind chime up and on breezy day enjoy the soft jingles of your craft.
