Flower Pot Painting

Materials needed:

  • Clean, clay terra-cotta pots

  • Pencil

  • Paint, glitter and various decorations

This is a great project for any time of the year, especially holidays like Mother's day.

1.  Have your children sketch a design on the pot with a pencil.

2.  Paint the design or decorate the pot in any way you wish.  Let your children's imagination take over and you'll see some interesting creativity.

3.  You can also start by painting a solid base color on the whole pot.  Then decorate the pot with paint, glitter and other decorations.

4.  Put a flower in the pot and give to mom as a gift.
