image ads
Google text & image ads are available on all of
our
parenting information,
shopping,
family travel &
community section pages. The text/image
ads can be found underneath the top
header/logo section, under the site
navigation area and within the content on
some of our pages. You can place your
ads by "placement targeting" www.thenewparentsguide.com within your
Google AdWords account or by
clicking here.
We recommend this method of advertising on
our site because it allows you to track the
performance of your ad.
Banner/image ads
The NewParent Guide is a popular site for expecting couples and new parents to find a vast
wealth of knowledge regarding shopping for new babies, parenting questions, baby names and
family travel onformation. The site reaches a predominantly affluent (55% earn over $61K
annually), young (64% are between the ages of 18 to 34), female (88% of the sites,s
visitors) audience.

a special or vacation package within 2 areas
of our site.
1. Any of our
"Family Travel Guides" pages
under "Travel Specials & Vacation Packages"
which can be found on each state's page.
2. Any of our
"Family Resorts" pages on the
appropriate page for your hotel, condo or
resort.
The ad
will include a logo or image up to 125 x 125
pixels in size, a title which will link to
the hotel and a 4 line description (a sample
ad is shown below). Pricing varies by page.
The ad will be located under the title &
subtitle of the page being advertised on. If you
would like a price quote,
email us the page(s) you're interested in along with the
hotel you wish to advertise and we will get
back to you with pricing information. Note:
Your site must be family-friendly/related and must meet our
guidelines.

If you own a company that rents baby
equipment such as strollers, car seats and
cribs, you can get an enhanced listing on
our list of
baby equipment rental companies.
With an enhanced listing your company will
stand out above your competitors and
increase your chance of having our visitors
contact you for their rental needs.
Enhanced listings include the following:

Guidelines
- Your site, advertisement and/or
banner/image ad must be family-friendly/related.
- Sites that will not be accepted
include: adult
sites, casino or gambling sites,
prescription drug sites, linkfarms,
sites that may be offensive to our
viewers, political sites, site
discussing controversial issues, sites
hosted on free servers, sites that try
to trick (sp*m) search engines, sites
using methods to artificially inflate
search engine ranking, sites that have
been banned from a search engine, and
other sites we feel are inappropriate
for families. We will also not accept
sites that are too similar to
our own.
- The guidelines listed above are only
general guidelines. There are many other
factors we consider when reviewing a
site. When we receive your request to
advertise on our site, we will review
your site and notify you if
the site meets our guidelines.
- Please note that we reserve the
right to refuse advertising on our site
for any or no reason at all. We
will notify you if the site is not
approved but may not comment on
why your site was declined.
